First edition was Maeyens-Couvreur, for one thing, not Flaxland. And date of Durand here is 1880 as with below (Teller-Ratner p111, though elsewhere on page.). The Durand plate number changed to D.& F. 2639 (1) to (3) in later reprints.

The pilgrimage of Sainte-Anne-la-Palud (French Wikipedia) in Brittany is still a popular religious atonement gathering celebrated the last week of August. Saint-Saëns's pieces are based on his versions of some of the traditional hymns sung on that occasion.

In 1872 published by Prosper Pégiel with the supertitle "Musique d'église", also.

Op.7bis is the Rapsodie bretonne composed in 1891 and published in 1892 based on the first and third of the Op.7.
