It is like having a "backing band in your home" to practice with and has 19 solos in the styles of Blues, Jazz, Rock, Gospel and Rhythm and Blues. The CD that comes with the book consists of the rhythm backing tracks of piano, organ bass and drums (the soloist can solo over the rhythm tracks) as well as the solo recorded along with the rhythm tracks for reference. Each of the 19 grooves are approximately 3 minutes in length, giving the musician ample time to try out improvisational ideas.
