The melody chorus is written using the entire ensemble with the soprano sax playing the lead throughout. There are some interesting tonal centers that the tune goes through in the bridge. A tutti interlude follows the first chorus and then the saxes begin to play more independent lines with some developmental material of these lines. There is an ad lib solo for alto with a suggested written solo. A modulation is heard near the end as is a reprise of the melody.
